Wow, I thought the cooked chicken posts were harsh but this is something else!!!

While I am in complete agreement that NO ONE should be given anything for making no contribution to society, from what I can see of the eligibility restrictions they apply to all kinds of people, some who have put their life on the line for their country(War Disablement Pension), some who have children/families and still go out to work even though they would probably have an 'easier' life on benefits(income support, child tax, working tax) and people who may have worked hard their who lives and deserve their pensions!!!

You can state you're eligible for any of the options, put down any number ( of any digit length) and it says you're entitled and the goods are on the way. Not the honest option, but my conscience wasn't bothered by this at all.
#13
wow and some people moan about people on benefits getting stuff they shouldnt
#14

i understand you hard workers but i just for the sake of it filled in the form and somehow qualified and received the devices :w00t:
don't know how as me and the missus work full time and are eligible for jack s**t usually.
but in the box where it says enter your benefit number just tap in a random number and you should hopefully qualify.
worked for me.

You can't use the new gmail add-on for addresses (I use it to check that websites like British Gas don't include your details in mailing lists.)

If you have a gmail address like [email protected]">[email protected], you can add an identifier like bgoffer, by typing [email protected]

You'll soon see if contacting BG was resposible for you receiving any extra marketing junk

Unfortunately, despite what GMail says at http://www.google.com/mail/help/tips.html#black and look at Item 3, you can't use this on the BG website as the adress gets rejected

mine arrived today ...........................cheers

I think it's about time the poor taxpayer gets something back. We constantly have to subsidise the millions of benefit claimants in this country and get nothing back. Then when we have the audacity to acutally get something for nothing - energy saving devices rather than the £1000s claimed in benefits by some - you get shirty. The horror of hard working, tax paying people getting energy saving devices for free - I can see why your shocked.

Where do i find my Benefits reference number? I've never had one?

I was dumbstruck the other day when I saw that income tax would be zero percent if benefits were not in place. Not that I'm advocating that but it puts things in perspective somewhat :w00t:

I wouldn;t seem so harsh if every person I knew on dla / income support was perfectly capable of working!

imagine going to for a hard days graft and taking home every penny of what you actually earnt! The mind boggles :-D
