Get a free identity snapband, waterproof marker and activity booklet. I know not everyone wants to give out information but if your child is lost on the beach and you have written your mobile number on the inside of the snapband they will soon be back with you.

Please consider making a donation, no matter how small, they are not funded by the Government but still go out every day risking their lives. Show your support, you might need them one day!

At first it kept saying enter valid DOB for me too,so i changed the DOB to include higher numbers in it ie instead of 19/02/1980 which did not work to 23 /11/1987 which went through ok? Hope this helps.

OMG, thats awful. Where did you hear that? was it in the Gazette? x

Brilliant post, I have friends with young autistic kids who would never dream of speaking to strangers if they got lost. This is an ideal solution.
#13
Apparently my data has already been submitted for it ?!
#14
Great idea heat added and 2 ordered

Please, please, please, make a donation to the RNLI when you are at the seaside if you get one of these. Even a couple of quid in a collection box helps! :)
#16
You don't need to enter your DOB, just tick the box to cfm you're over 16.....
#17
Just ordered mine. Thanks :-)
#18
Hope the people taking up this free offer are making donations! Like op said that they would have paid good money for this... Well a donation to the RNLI goes a long way :)

Great, but I have three kids and it won't let me apply a second time for any more. Oh well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad!!

I guess you'll have to tie two of them together three-legged style! :-)

Keep saying invalid email

Bad idea to post this here. Thousands will take the freebie without making a donation and never use it anyway. It will cost the RNLI a fortune.

We always make a point to donate at least once while we are on holiday - they collect at the beach, so it's very easy to do.
You never know when you might need them.

Storm Force membership for a child at £7.50 looks to me like a very good way of showing support for RNLI given that this useful "freebie" is child-related. Someone clearly put some thought into what to include in that child membership pack - I'm very impressed!

Accepted my 1944 age no problem. Two sets for my grand-bairns. Nice offer - I'm a long-term RNLI supporter, so whatever they do is OK with me, and this a great idea. I'd have paid for it if they'd asked, so an extra donation on the way.

I'm guessing it was meant as a joke as it's illegal to tattoo kids 8)

. Can't you ask an Aunt, Uncle or Grandparent etc to apply for an extra one on your behalf?

Voted hot - RNLI do a fantastic job!

Check out http://rnli.org/shorething/Pages/default.aspx for 7-14 year olds as well

Maybe you should donate the 'good money' you would have paid for these to the RNLI. I donated money to them, very worth cause.
