OK My apologies - this is my first deal post and so far i have put it in the wrong place twice. Many thanks to BristolDeal for pointing me in the right direction.

This is my first good post (well i think its pretty good!!)

I received a card from the Royal Mail where you can sign up for their new post survey. In return you get free stamps every month. Here is the info from the site:

The Royal Mail Postal Survey

Research International is the independent company responsible for monitoring the service provided by Royal Mail. Royal Mail makes use of the results from our survey to identify problems and fix them as quickly as possible. We monitor the mail service by having a large panel of volunteers all over the country sending test letters to each other and providing us with the dates of when they posted and received the test letters (of course we fully pay all postage costs).

We need to recruit more volunteers to join our panel; we would be very interested to hear from YOU.

Why should you help?

1. Its your Royal Mail. All the benefits from an efficient mail service will be passed on to you and everyone in the country.
2. You will receive18 first class stamps every month as a thank you for your involvement, as well as entry into daily prize draws to win £10 in High Street gift vouchers, plus other regular cash prize draws of up to £5000.

The link to the web page is - https://rmselfrecruit.research-int.com/Questionnaire/qstIntroductionPrivate.aspx

Free stamps in exchange for sending and receiving letters to RM, not bad in my book!!

Just mentioned this to my office manager. She tells me that she's done this before with the same company and its very time consuming, overall her thoughts were that the extra work involved wasn't worth the free stamps in return. You have to complete weekly reports as to what post you've sent, etc. Wondered what anyone else thought? if they've done it before?

He has done it before and says its very time consuming for a small reward

Not time consuming at all been doing it for approx 6 months - its a good deal lots of stamps and a chance in the daily draw and the monthly draw

Have signed up. My dad has done this for years, sending the replies by post, and has always been given loads of stamps for doing it, but he is now being "phased out" so they can do it online instead.

Heat added

This was posted on MSE about a month ago and if you have a look over there you will see that loads of people have signed up for it and it is indeed a genuine survey. I signed up for it and received 18 1st class stamps immediately along with 2 envelopes to post on specified days. They already have the stamps on the envelopes and all you have to do is stick a printed address label on the outside of the envelope and a sticker on the insert and post. The other letter needs the same address handwritten and post usually the next day. 2 minutes work if that. You also receive stuff and send it back to them. You can log on to their website and you put in what time it was posted and from which post box. I think its a great idea to keep an eye on the posties out there. We have had quite a few things go missing in the post so I am quite happy to participate. All I would say is please dont exploite it just for the free stamps as they may stop being quite so generous in future.

A good offer none the less, but I don't think I will be participating.
15 stamps is equivalent to approx £5, not sure if it's worth it really.
Heat added though

this is WAAAY too much hassle. It starts off ok, couple of letters a week. Before you know it, you're knee deep in posting schedules, SMARTS and test items.

Simply not worth it for basically 60 quid a year.

Avoid. There are far easier and quicker ways of making money than this.
#26
Thanks I have signed uptoo.Like others have said you have nothing to lose. Am gonna vote hot!!!

erm theres a list of referal codes when you sign up, you have to pick one. they are just things like google01 its just where you saw the advert..
#28

The code I provided for you is reference code not a referral code, I'm not to sure where the £25 comes in I haven't seen that. As far as I know each individual member gets entered in to a competition to win the money up for grads as an incentive to get people to sign up.

However if that is the case and I receive a cheque for £000's I will gladly share it out

Think this looks a bit iffy too!. Just contacted Royal Mail Customer Services - they didn't seem to have a record of the "E2E Surveys" section within Royal Mail (as stated on the Royal Mail letter to customers (see link on Intro page)).
Seems like a good deal but I'm not prepared to part with my own personal details for the promise of free stamps!
#39
Thanks phgould. I have had post going missing for years, I'm more than happy to participate in this survey. H&R added.

Did anyone read this last bit after registering....

As this is an ongoing survey we would appreciate your help for as long as possible although of course you are under no obligation.

Please do not talk about the survey to anyone connected with Royal Mail.

LOL
