Save on Train Tickets with Tickety Split @ itunes
From MSE:

http://splitticket.moneysavingexpert.com/
Short Notes: This FREE app/website will look at all the options on your train route and see where you can save money. I use to do this manually and it takes an age but you can save over £100 on some return journeys!
First incarnation so its "today only" hopefully with future train dates getting added.
Free TicketySplit app slashes train fares
Revolutionary new split ticket tool | Uncover hidden ticket combinations to cut the cost
Train split ticketing gives massive legal savings on scores of routes, even though you travel on the SAME TRAIN at the SAME TIME. Eg, a Solihull to Reading single costs £47. Yet the train stops at Banbury, so instead buy Solihull to Banbury & Banbury to Reading tickets & it costs just £23, saving £24. The problem's been finding when this trick works - until now.
New free MSE split ticket app: Download our new TicketySplit Lite iPhone app or bookmark the TicketySplit mobile site. Tell it your journey, and it'll tell you where to split and the saving. It may be slow on day one.
It's for walk-on singles. This first incarnation doesn’t cover advances or returns, only ‘today tickets’. Always check their prices too, as often they’re cheaper. To split ‘em, find where the single’s split as often it’s the same, then check prices to see if it works.
Why does it work? Because train fares and logic go together like Coco Pops and ketchup. Yet it does work. They can ask you to get off and on the train, but we've only ever heard that once in six years. See full Split Ticket help.
How to buy tix. Ask at station kiosks (not machines) for separate tix (you can buy tix for anywhere at any station).
How does the app make money? Quite simply, it doesn't. It's free, with no ads, so please be prudent, we pay each time you search. We just wanted to go for it. If it's huge and costs us a packet, we'll need to look at how we fund it.

But not in the deals section!

Please try and be part of the community not be so stubborn. Just because you have posted something in the wrong place before doesn't mean you should keep doing it!
HUKD gets cluttered with non-deals and reposts enough as it is and the mods have got better things to do than repost your mistakes particularly once you know you are getting it wrong.
Just read this: http://www.hotukdeals.com/help and hopefully it will all make sense.
What are the different types of deals?
Deals can be any product or service people can buy for a bargain, including two-for-one sales, reduced prices, and clear out sales.
Freebies are things you can get for free! Whether it's a free download or a free pair of socks, you can post it here. Free items included with a purchase are considered deals, since a purchase is still required.
As for your original post it is just a repost from MSE so it's not going to set the world on fire. All you've done is cut an paste a load of guff off the MSE website, not tried it yourself and left any helpful opinion. I tried the app when I got the MSE newsletter and thought it wasn't very useful as it didn't offer return tickets. It needs more work to be any good. That's why I didn't bother posting it (in the freebies section!)
Chill and give the big man some props for doing something other than posting some of the usual tripe on here.

In all fairness. He has a point. It doesn't come across as being particularly angry but if the OP doesn't quite understand the rules then it is worth re-stating. I am a signed up member of MSE so I really appreciate this deal but nevertheless why make the MODs work harder on purpose; seems a little selfish to me..

Sounds like this is more of a deal then by your own reckoning?
I personally don't care where is sits, I put it in the deal section for more exposure and goonertillidie kindly saw fit to move it here, which I thanked him for, without complaint, as he helps run this excellent place and I apologise if I caused him/her a bit of inconvenience.
As for your note about copying it all, erm if you bothered to read the Short Notes paragraph (in the post at the top), before getting on your keyboard high horse, I surmised the app in my own experience and said it was the first iteration. Even this version will save a lot of people money now and when version 2 lands even more.
As I say I don't mind that the mods have moved it to here nor do I have a right to, its still gaining heat and if it helps out just one person that isn't a MSE subscriber then I'm happy :)

We do all make mistakes but the OP already admitted that he put it in the wrong place on purpose so that it would get "exposure". OP also admitted that they had been corrected previously. I'm not saying you shouldn't post freely. I just think that it is worth the little effort to do things right, as it were.
