SoundHound App iOS

Just found this via the 12 Days of Christmas app. Open it today and you'll find a free "thank you" app called SoundHound. Looks like it is free in the AppStore too.

SoundHound is a instant music search and discovery app. It will recognise tunes playing through a speaker or if you hum or sing it.

Soundhoud is free, this is Soundhound ∞ which is ad-free and usually £4.99

I tested both this and Shazam a few months ago and this seemed to have more success identifying songs where there was a lot of background noise

I just downloaded it and tried it out and it even recognized my awful rendition of The Sound of Music
(half-hummed when I forgot the words) :)
I agree it seems to have a lot more success with songs than Shazam.

I tried it and it actually works good, it only didn't work for 2 songs out of about 15!
