I do use dropbox for more than a year to share files and to access them remotely. It is one for the best for online synchronisation although the Free version has limited account of 2GB.

And I was looking for another alternative when I came across SugarSync. As per my research it exists for a long time. Their Free plan gives you 5GB (dropbox only 2GB) and you can get Free bonus space of 500MB for each referred friend, and on top of that there is no limit for maximum bonus space. This double bonus space offer is already running from August and it will end on 31 December 2010.

With SugarSync we can sync unlimited devices including iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry. Respectively it is available in Android market and in Itunes.

So far I can say that SugarSync is pretty good (I’ve got it for 1 day only), and I will appreciate any comments from users who use it longer.

If you like you can follow this link (it is my referral link) to sign up

https://www.sugarsync.com/referralxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

we both will automatically receive extra 500MB.

One thing Sugarsync does not support Linux, whilst Dropbox does.
