We are delighted to have been given a few returns/cancelled tickets to Opening Night of the lighthearted comedy: Stepping Out, starring Jessie Wallace and Brian Capron.

The show is at the Manchester Opera House on Monday 5th October, at 7.30pm

STEPPING OUT

The award winning production is set in a dusty church hall where ex-professional dancer Mavis Turner holds her weekly tap class. Every Thursday, in stumbles her well-intentioned but not overly talented troupe, the awkward but hugely enthusiastic Lynne, snooty Vera, streetwise Maxine and the rest of the group, all brought together to dance as if no one is watching, and hopefully no-one ever will!

That is until they are invited to perform at a charity gala. As disbelief is replaced by sheer terror, can this bunch of amateurs pull together and put on the performance of a lifetime?

The star cast includes Brian Capron, known to millions for his award-winning portrayal of the sinister Richard Hillman in Coronation Street, Jessie Wallace, who won the nations hearts as the vivacious Kat Slater in EastEnders, and Olivier Award-nominated West End star Rosemary Ashe as quick witted Mrs Fraser. This funny, heart-warming play proves that in dancing as in life, its always better to follow your own tune.

I doubt anyone will be able to answer all these but Im just curuious and wondered what others thought.....
1) Do you think theyll all be the cheap seats or a mixture? (perhaps not sold enough for 'opening night' and want more people scattered all over?
2) Has anyone heard any reviews or anything for this.....that are not the ones online (could be biased)
3) Do you think SFF will start giving free tickets to more plays if this one gets enough feedback? (I am very impressed they are even giving away tickets for one performance so to get future shows would be amazing)

Im quite excited for this :) Although the price that the tickets would have been will prob cover petrol

Got tickets to Never Forget in Manchester thru SeeFilmFirst.

Tickets were near the back, but seem to remember the theatre was pretty full.

Had a great time, its a good idea, makes a massive difference to see a show with a full house.

Gutted I missed out on this one. Would be very grateful if anyone has any spares they can't use.

did you get a good enough view to say they were near the back? :) I never realised they sometimes give theatre tickets out...perhaps you could check closer to the time....I would guess SFF have an allocation....if all the tickets arent sold by half 5 or something they might give more away? (the tickets are still on sale atm)

Had great view, although you're near the back the theatre isn't massive.

I actually prefer it higher up and further back to get a better view of the overall staging, lights etc.

Enjoy.
