  NEVER purchase songs from amazon! Once they are lost/deleted from your device, they are gone forever. You cannot re-download them like you can with i-tunes. I learnt this the hard way, luckily I spent only a fiver.

  Store them on your pc so you have a backup or even stick em on cd so you have a backup for the backup.
