Keep in mind that this game is 50GB so it will take a while to download.

no, because even the most mediocre PC gamers can easily beat the most elite console gamers, which they found out on other games when they tested it many years ago, so cross platform gaming will never happen with FPS.

I play with a controller and finish as the top player or round about top, I think kb&m being more accurate is a myth. ...just saying ;)

they want you to purchase the same console to play your mates

I always finish top with a controller on pc when using the standard machine gun. My k/d is over 2. Controllers with aim assist vs k+m is actually quite even. It is different though when I use a sniper rifle or any one shot rifle for that matter with a controller.

Aim assist isn't quite the same as an aim bot.

Think of it as owning the game for 48 hours. There aren't any restrictions :)

Yeah, I know, just in theory though, if you played straight for 48 hours no sleep etc, could you unlock/achieve everything?

No chance. To reach Gen 10 you need to play at least 150 games just for regen requirements at Gen 8 and 9 alone.
Not to mention the campaign is 9 maps per side, so to release all three titans you need to play 18 games there.

Average 10 mins per game with a minimum of 90 secs in the lobby waiting for the next game (assuming you're on a consecutive run).

For this alone you're looking at 42 hours. You're not going to get from level 1 to Gen 7 lvl 50 (effectively level 350) in 6 hours.

For the record, I reached 10th Gen after approx 120 hours of play.

I've not tried it on the PC yet, so it's definitely worth a bash.

hahaha utter bullcrap - what you think because you use a mouse and keyboard that makes you superior to someone that uses a controller ?
i play BF3 on both pc and console and its a million times easier on pc with precicion aiming using mouse.
i find your comment to be a ficticious statement only said as you obviously are a pc gamer.i suspect you think your master race ? am i right ? of course i am right ...

Considering BF4 is just BF3.5 - Hardline just seems like it should be DLC content.

It's the first Battlefield in a long time I won't get day one. Seems like they are turning into cod by getting another developer to churn out a 'copy & paste' game every year with this franchise...

I'm not saying it's bad at all really it's just more same'y BF but just reskinned & am tired of their formula as it were. I think thats where Titanfall tried to fill the need for something different...I am about to see if does (_;)

Downloading now at my full line speed (~75Mbps). 50GB is still gonna take a while though!

By the time you download 50Gb the weekend will be over.

Possible, I've played for around 12 hours in total and I'm a 3rd gen pilot.

It doesn't matter when you finish downloading it as the timer only kicks in once you start the game.
#39
I wonder if anyone will come out with a hack to reset the timer.
#40
I will be surprised if most of you can download it and have time to play it in the 48hour time limit. Its a large game and Origin isn't the fastest, took me 3 whole days to download all 17 command and conquers and there smaller. My internet might just be poo tho
