Update* - Just had a message from GetTaxi stating that you will get extra £5 if you were to order a cab in the next 48hrs. Unfortunately, I was on another call so did not pay a lot of attention and now I can't find the message on my GetTaxi account. Can someone please confirm that the additional offer is true? I will try calling their customer service later this eve.
No extra charge - you will be charged at the same rate as if you were to stop a passing black cab. Good deal for me just for the convenience as you can order a cab directly to you.... £10 free credit is cherry on the top :)

Once the app is downloaded and you've verified your phone number click on "ME" then "promotion code"
You are quite right, the fare of these black cabs are so expensive
