Please, all cyclists get this pack and follow their advice then I might be able to walk on the pavements without being hit by a bike as I was 20 minutes ago......................Nice chap had the decency to stop (not) and ride off shouting abuse at me for daring to be on the footpath

thanks.

I sympathise with your experinece today, but perhaps you should consider that not all cyclists are the same, also bear in mind how little regard pedestrians and motorists have for cyclists on the road or on dedicated cycle paths/lanes.

But the fact is people like that will NEVER read anything related to cycling or pay attention to the law until they're physically stopped by a officer on the street, which lets face it, chance of that happening is slim.

Still getting the Error page due to high demand.

Will keep trying.

still in error due to high demand and its 00.50 :whistling:

funny thing happened on my ride to work tonight - I was approaching a roundabout (3 cars queing but they had kept far enough from the curb to allow me on the inside upto the line which was a nice change)
A father with his kid on the back of his bike and a girl of about 5 yrs who was on her own bike, proceeded to ride off the footpath directly in front of me and cross between the queuing cars, just managed to brake and skid to a halt without going over the handlebars or crashing into the young girl.

When I asked what the hell he was doing he just grinned inanely at me and carried on telling the girl to hurry to the other side - Im a 6'2" bloke dressed in liminous yellow, not hard to spot.

dont schools do the Cycling Proficiency test anymore - every day you see kids riding on the wrong side of the road near the curb because they cant to arsed to cross the road - and the parents will blame the driver who hit them

Throw in a bit of wild camping to keep the cost down.

Ordered this last year, great info but I got a lot of calls from them trying to get me to set up a direct debit to make regular charity donations to them.
Was not impressed that they wanted my bank details over the phone and were very pushy, I ended up hanging up on them which I dont like doing to anybody.

Thanks - link worked for me.

If only there was a shower at my work, thanks OP good find.

I'm fedup dodging inconsiderate people walking 3 + abreast on shared foot & cycle paths, I'm fitting a bell - simple and effective and if they don't like it they can walk single file lol
