Yeah thanks a ton matey, I had trouble with this before, but got it sorted now and have a fiver to use! Thanks

I love the Wii U, but man is the interface terrible, and all these sites to log in too, some using your email, others your Nickname, damn. Thanks again!

And thanks op for the reminder, off to spend my fiver!

Nintendo's online has been 5 years behind for about the last 6-7 years

This offer ends by the end of this year.

I've still got 458 points to go but I dunno if I really want it anyway.

I'd say Nintendo services are barely on par with the early 360 days and this is after they've finally upgraded to a username/account based system rather than the ridiculous friend code system previously. To my knowledge they still save all content to the console it's purchased on rather than the user. If you don't consider that behind the times then i don't know what can be considered to be.

I like Nintendo products and games but their online system is very substandard compared to the offerings from the other two consoles. And even they're playing catchup to PCs.

Anyway sorry for that tangent. Thanks for reminding me op but I'm unsure I've ever actually bought anything off the store as they never have any decent sales on. Heat added.

If you go to p.nintendo.net and select UK and sign in with NNID and password that is linked to your Wii U, that will tell you how many points you have.

I'd spend more than that its 8 points per pound excluding vat
#15
it is only for black Wii u consoles and you have to spend £50( without tax) on the Wii u for a free voucher, expires 31st december
#16
Thanks op, got £15

I have 420pts from The Wind Waker free download that came with Mario Kart.

So I need to spend £8 on something?

At 8 points per pound you need to spend £10 before tax

With the username based system, purchases are only partly tied to consoles - basically, your entire purchase history can be seen in your Club Nintendo account. Makes it more straightforward to restore purchases but it's some distance from being really user friendly
