>WinUtilities is an award winning collection of tools

I wonder what (if any) awards it has won.

I found a web site from 2005 where it said it was "award winning".

http://www.download3k.com/System-Utilities/System-Maintenance/Download-WinUtilities.html

And it is still saying it.

Don't have a clue. But it's the most widely used windows maintenance software available in the world so im sure it has won some.

CCleaner is another alternative. It's free and I used it for years, it does all of the above except defragging.

Winutilities does a LOT more than CCleaner, although i would recommend everyone use CCleaner as well as it works great.

From the description:

WinUtilities version 7.0
* Added a new disk drive defragment module
* Friendly WinUtilities launch user interface
* Improved 1-Click Maintenance module
* Added disk defragment supports for 1-Click Maintenance module
* WinUtilities Task Scheduler supports drive defragment
* Added new plug-ins for WinUtilities History Cleaner
* Added system tray – Quick Launcher supports
* Improved compatibility for Windows XP & Vista 64 bit
* Improved compatibility for Windows 7
* Minor bug fixes

Cheers for this...H&R added as I've been waiting months for 'Tuneup Utilities' to become compatible with Windows 7. Hopefully this is a decent alternative :thumbsup:

I have both win utilities and tuneup on my computer. i used to prefer tuneup but it gets slower with every new release so i prefer win utilities now.
