Wondershare Time Freeze

Wondershare Time Freeze is an easy and effective protection tool to keep your computer safe from viruses, spyware, Trojans and other malicious threats. It puts the actual system under protection and creates a virtual system, on which you run applications and surf the internet. All traces and malicious threats will disappear after reboot. You can also save changes to the actual system.

It provides the following advantages:

- Virtual system as the shadow of the actual system: prevent threats of any viruses, malware, spyware and Trojans.
- Simply reboot computer to return to the original state. Eliminates cost for system maintenance.
- Surf internet safely, and play around with computer with NO trace left.
- Prevent access to protected files and folders. Protect your privacy effectively
- Manage the program with a custom password setting and keep inexperienced users from making change to your settings and configures
- Compatible with Windows 7/XP/Vista/2000.

Killed my old Acer 1681 with this :x

Installed and rebooted as it asked then loaded license key and restarted again for good measure.
Turned on Timefreeze with default settings and browsed for around half-an-hour - rebooted PC and on start-up it hung with a blank screen and disk activity light for over an hour (unfortunately I didn't see the early part of the reboot).
Lappy would not power-down with power switch - after another half-hour I resorted to pulling the battery and presumably fried my mother-board.

You've been warned :-D
