Just to summarize all the codes we've had for this movie:
SONYPICS1, 738043, 750694, 389514, 673568, 557984, SONYPICS, TESCO, VICE, HMVTKTS1, TOTALFILM, TESCO2, TISCALI, FIVEFILM, 817617, METRO, ALLOCINE, MEGASTAR, REALGUIDE

Advice - if you haven't scored tickets as yet, try the above mentioned codes one by one for your local venue.

Seen the film last night - total boys film, i never liked it that much

I read an interesting article about Knocked Up which said that its success in the US was largely due to a new strategy of swamping the country with free previews to build up enormous word of mouth before it opened.... that fit with what happened here: an enormous number of free preview codes for Knocked Up recently. And Superbad is made by the same people: Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen etc

What a annoyance!

I could get free tickets for the cinema pretty much on my doorstep but it is on Monday at 6:30pm and I've got my driving lesson :-(

AngelUndercover, in your second post 543993 isn't for this movie.

Will anyone actually pay to go and see this film at this rate? :giggle: :giggle:

Saw it last night (Lowry - Salford Quays). Lewd, rude, crude & sick schoolboy humour..........I enjoyed every minute of it. However I fully understand that ladies may find it just a little bit too much to handle. Consider carefully before you give out your second ticket.

I went to see this film on Wednesday night at Cineworld in Glasgow. Great film and the 3 stars turned up at the end to answer any questions the audience had, they seemed to enjoy being chaperoned in by Zoo magazine girls!

Got a couple for Thursday, cheers

AT LAST...some free tickets for Vue at Blackburn. This is the first time they've opened it up for this venue so I'm off to watch, whether it's good or bad..It's a free night out.

Thanks for the codes! Not one of them for Kilmarnock tho! This is shocking! I went to see Knocked up at Kilmarnock Screening, how come no one else seems to screen there?

This film is absoloutly quality, me and my mate went (both fully fledged guys) i dont think we stoped laughing. thanks alot!!!!

Hi all,

Went to see this tonight in Birmingham and the first 20-30 minutes of the film was absolute rubbish. I was amazingly close to walking out, i was that disappointed.

As has been said before it was crude, childish and absolutely not funny! The continual references to s*x and anything involved in it just becomes tiresome after a while...and there is a lot of it!

However, as it goes on it does improve. There are moments when you cant help but laugh out loud...its just a shame that they are few and far between.

If these free previews are meant to advertise the film through word of mouth then this has back fired. The only reason i'll be talking about it is to tell people not to bother wasting their money!

One positive...on the way in i was offered free tickets to see Disturbia tomorrow night!
#22
.... personally I am an 18 yr old female and I thought it was brilliant. Surely you have seen one of the trailers for it you must have known what you were in for. It was free lighten up!
#23
I'm just giving my honest opinion of the film!

The benefit of having a free preview is that you can pass on your judgement of it to other people who will have to pay to see it.

Its great that i got to see it for free, which is why i voted the deal hot...i'm just saying that i didnt like the film.

Were you that guy 1 row from the front ?

Your age doesnt come into it. Im an 18 year old male, and I saw this film tonight in Blackpool. It was absolute rubbish! Unless curse words still make you laugh, just because they are "bad". Mental age of 12? Then this is the film for you! Otherwise, I'd save your money.

Yep, I was thinking the same. I doubt anyone I know would have gone and seen this without me and her saying how its the funniest film i've seen since Borat, it would have lasted 1 week at the cinema without this build-up of W-O-M. Shows confidence in the film too, if it was **** nobody would go and see it after the previews! Theres been far too many poor comedy films in recent years- Wild hogs, Click, You Me and Dupree, etc, good to see this one- for free!

No i wasnt.

Were you the guy at the back more interested in the backs of peoples heads than the film?!?! :giggle: :whistling:

No but this one guy didnt move during the whole film, thought he was dead.

Must have been a boring old fart, his lady friend enjoyed the film though :)

The guy said they would be asking for our opinion at the end didnt he, did you see anyone giving their feedback for the film ? :S
#31
No didnt see anything like that and i wasnt told anything about giving feedback.

I know you get an email asking you to rate the film and the service but thats all i think.
