This has already been posted before... I don't think it does work on UK accounts, someone has said that it doesn't before.

This was on here before. Some people said they don't work. Others say it does.

Try 90210 for the zip code. From what i hear it seems to work

Lost me there a little Chris - how does a free live trial find out who's got non iXtreme firmware on their box ?

It's not likely to entice any more iXtreme users to go online because that's the purpose of the fw in the first place - to go onlive with backups.

They have however said before the previous update that they intended to do something about people who's system origin doens't match their live account (e.g live in the states in nearly half what we pay here).

I tried it but it wont accept the codes associated with US gaming, I have a UK account.
Try it, but don't be too upset if it doesn't work.

They banned hundreds of accounts a few months ago by tracking them online - the xbox still works but not online

I'd be wary of this, many people got banned for using USA live accounts on Uk consoles to get additional themes etc and this is a violation of the live terms and conditions

uh oh im using a us gamertag on a uk console, only thing is, it was printed in the official xbox mag ! how to to it, so i doubt theyd ban you !
