EXPIRED - Tesco Massive Clearance Sale Nationwide?

STARTS: 07/10/2007   

Went into the local tesco this evening, theres about 3 aisles of clearance items (looks like they want to clear summer stock)

Picked up a realy good quality satchual bag (brown & black avail) @ £2.58

Very modern black knife block and funky knife & scissor set @ £3.50

Utensils set for £1.48 (to match the funky colours of knife block set)

3 rolls of brown sellotape for £1 (normally about £1 each good for ebay)

Brown Suede & Tan bean bags for £4 (large sixed)

Summer furniture knocked down to silly price (get it for next year if you got no storage issues)

Best one by far, computer desk for £7.50 (same as the beech finish in argos / slider draw etc for £24.99)

My sister confirmed its also in the nottingham stores, so i assume it might be nationwide. Worth a check at least!

It's a clearance event which is running until early next week, it gives stores a chance to clear their warehouses in readiness for Christmas stock. Some fantastic bargains to be had, most stores are marking lines down by 75% to sell through discontinued and end of range products!

Its running in all Extra stores.

As much as i hate how tesco have taken over most neighbourhoods, sales like these are some form of compensation for the eye ache.

The PC desk is indeed a clearance line. Whether your nearest store has any depends upon if they cleared out their back to school allocations.

the one in hucknall, nottingham has 4 desks in stock as of 8pm today. They origanlly sold these at £24.99. I'm pretty sure its this one (why price is diff on website, i dont know)

i work at tesco in north shields (newcastle) and im pretty sure our store didn't have a massive clearance going on.

although i didnt get the text message about it until i was clocking off, and didnt have the chance to look around properly. still though, think i would have heard about it if it was on.

just took a special trip to gatwick extra....to checkout these bargains....but same old rubbish they had in sale last week, only good thing I found was sun protection...a bargain at 97p...loreal solar expertise spf 40 150ml for the kids, in spray formula....good deal for next summer or any upcoming holidays........ think this offer may also be in all stores

Coventry store had this started the other week, a lot of it is Stationary and ex-back to school stock.

It all depends on the stock thats avaliable in each store,there are some great bargains in the DIY section for anyone needing tools.

I went late last night just to check it out when i saw the message up on here - lots of stuff not real anything I would be after though, but I did buy a couple of pairs of jeans down to £7.50
