Sale on HD-DVDs @ AxelMusic.com £10.82 + 99p P&P = £11.81

This has been around for a week or 2 now. (not sure if all those titles where there to start with tho).

Hmm, that's about what I end up paying on Amazon for HD-DVDs, minus a quid or so P&P.

Yep, although most of the HD-DVDs I like I've bought via Amazon Marketplace from sellers in the U.S., e.g 12 Monkeys is currently £11.25, Spartacus and Meaning of Life were only £11 each. Granted they're not current fashion items but the currently fashionable films can be bought cheaply too. If you look at the "used and new" prices there's lots of places in there who sell new from the U.S. and delivery times are usually pretty good. Also you can walk into Gamestation and buy many HD-DVDs for £13, not bad for a high-street store although their selection is often limited.

So this deal might be good but if what you want isn't there, you may well be able to find it cheap on amazon or the high street!

Still worth checking on Amazon's prices on the "used and new" tag for a title which is basically US dealers (I use caiman_usa quite a bit), after a quick random check between your site and amazon, there was one title that was £7 more expensive on amazon, one that amazon didn't have, and one that was £3 cheaper on amazon. Common prices on amazon are £11.50 for older films, Bourne Identity is £10.91 and Bourne Supremacy is £10.92 for example. Hardly earth-shattering but if an HD-DVD is £11.50 on amazon probably not worth looking elsewhere most of the time.

Just a heads up but there is a lot of talk on AVForums about a deal with Toshiba HD DVD Players, laptops and the Xbox add on that are giving away 7 HD DVD's with any purchase so no doubt most of these will be on that offer as well.
