Project Gotham Racing 4 for X360 - £29.99 Delivered!

£29.99

136°

FOUND BY: Kzeove 2 years, 1 month ago

Project Gotham Racing 4 is the highly anticipated next instalment of the blockbuster Project Gotham Racing (PGR) franchise, developed by Bizarre Creations exclusively for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system. With a dramatic new weather system, revamped career mode, revised Kudos system, new tracks and locations as well as the worlds most iconic vehicles, PGR 4 takes racing to a new level of thrill and excitement.

For the first time in PGR history, drivers will have the option of racing a variety of motorcycles from top manufacturers, such as Ducati, BMW and Honda. Whether on two wheels or four, players must perform daring and stylistic moves to win over their fans, who will cheer them on as they follow their road to racing notoriety.

In addition, through a new content server, drivers can save their favourite races and search over Xbox LIVE?? for race content that is specific to their interests. Players can find out who has the longest slide or wheelie in Shanghai or St. Petersburg, for example, through the innovative new content server.

NOTE: This is NTSC J, its Region Free Version and has Full English Language, and Will Play On Any 360 Console System. I know its cheaper from Play Asia, but it gets delivered from within the UK :)

This is the same version Play Asia were selling for £26ish before they were 'asked' not to ship them to europe anymore.

Ive got one.Its got a bit of chinese writing on the box and the manual is half english half chinese.Game plays totally in English and is superb.Totally recommended.

So glad I didn't get a PS3 this game blows away anything Ive seen on that big time.

According to my local blockbuster they are not putting PGR4 in the £9.99 deal as they done the same with Halo 3 so my copy of halo is going back to get a refund and then putting the money towrads it for PGR4

Don't think Forza is in the deal anymore but bioshock should be

Been playing this as well (my play-asia copy finally turned up today...no thanks to our lazy postman!)

Haven't played online yet, but the single player is very good.

I absolutely loved PGR, PGR2 and and PGR3 but I'm afraid I just can't stand PGR4. Maybe it's because I'm so used to the simulation style of Forza 2 I don't know. My friends who play Forza 2 as well don't like it either.

My advice, if you've played Forza 2, play the demo of PGR4 first (or rent if you don't have Xbox Live).

Anyone else notice how you hardly have to break at all, except for hairpins?!

Slightly off topic, but do you know if PC World is honouring PGR4 and Halo 3 in its 2 games for £60 offer?
I really want to buy both from either Moorgate or Croydon PC World on the way home from work.

No it plays like PGR3 with added bits, though Im not sure about the bikes but then you dont have to use them

One thing with PGR for online play is that its an equal field so in some ways beating someone isnt always down to the fact you've got the springs set perfectly and got the right kind of Camber.

I really want to buy both from either Moorgate or Croydon PC World on the way home from work.
Called into the Bangor NI Currys today to get 2 copies of PGR4 for £60 (one for brother), they were not on display yet so I asked and the guy eventually got me 2 copies from the store.
Unfortunately when he rang them through there were no offers which could not be applied to the two copies.

He was not sure about the 2 for £60 offer so he tried with another game and it came up but could not be applied to the PGR4. He then checked with someone else and they said it didn't apply to PGR4 because it was just out. I said I would check back next week to see if it was updated on the computer. He said good luck and I left empty handed.

So it does not seem to work at the moment but if anyone gets this to work in Currys or PC World please leave a message in here as it should then work everywhere.

Thanks

Peter
