Wii Packages - Wii, Wii Sport and Choice of 3 games from a limited Range - Gamestation - £300+

I know it is NOT cheap, and i have no idea of trade in values, but the Wii, plus in effect 4 games, from ok a limted choice but are that they bad for £300?

4 games for £120, £30 per game. I am sure you could trade in some of them and get some of that back, not sure.......

I don't expect this to be the hottest deal by anymeans but might be worth a shot cos of the all the so and so's who keep reserving at argos and then selling the reservation number.

All of those games can be bought seperately for £30 or less. So thats £90 for the games. The Wii with Wii Sports is £180 more or less. So that comes to £270. Even if you factor in £35 for each game yyoure still looking at £285. In fact Brain Academy is available for around £15. You actually pay approx £30 more for this 'deal' than seperate. I see that youre posting this more due to its availability but that doesnt make it a hot deal.

Not that I'm advocating this as a great deal in anyway, but in reference to what you posted there, it's actually the bundled Wii sports, Big Brain and then the choice of 3 other games. So the 'deal' isn't actually 'that' bad, but bad nonetheless!

Put it this way if they ordered 1 and genuinely could not make it to pick up at the store thats fair enough but people reserving into double figures all over the country well do i need to go on

I see what you're saying about games costs vs this package and yes, 100% it was more about availability.

Having just looked on ebay, they are selling for not much more than £200. Based on that being £180 retail, factoring in ebay and paypal fees, not much profit is being made at all it seems. Not worth the hassle.

As for those reserving across the land, i am not impressed at all

Thanks for pointing this out - I didnt realise this. As you say not a great deal but at least its not as bad as i thought it was. By the way - I notice that Zelda is £19.99 in Argos for anyone considering any of these games.

I voted cold but thanks for thinking of others - I made a mistake and didnt realise that it was 3 games on top of sports AND Brain Academy so anyone going for this due to availability wouldnt lose a lot so Im going to add some rep for you for a good natured post. I agree with the others about reserving many consoles being a bad thing.
