Found this when looking around for a smaller capacity (2GB) MP3 player from Sony which was coming in around the £45 mark.
Cheapest I've seen around on the net for this model is £75, though average is more nearer the £90 mark.
Yes it does use the SonicStage software that everyone seems to hate, but if you use it only for transferring music its fine (well I've had no problems in the 5 years I've been using it).
The sound is superb (ditch the supplied headphones and get another pair), and if you compare to other (decent) similar capacity MP3 players, this one is a bargain at the price.
