Don't forget the £15 last minute deals. http://www.travelodge.co.uk/last_minute_deals/ managed to nab myself 2 nights together £15 a night quite easily for start of next month

Here's the list of November 2007 Hotspot Hotels and days available.

every Sunday and Monday
Crewe
every Sunday and Monday
Dunfermline
every Sunday and Monday

every Sunday and Monday
Halifax

Holyhead
every Sunday and Monday
Knutsford M6
every Sunday and Monday
Knutsford Tabley
every Sunday and Monday
Leicester Central

Ludlow Wooferton

Redditch
every Friday and Sunday
Sunbury M3
every Friday and Sunday
Winchester Sutton Scotney North
every Friday and Sunday
Winchester Sutton Scotney South

As for which ones are best to stay at, these are all pretty much standardised hotels. One room won't look much different to another. There may be differences in location (exterior sound), management (cleanliness, how nice people on the front desk are etc).

Travelodge over books rooms. So if you turn-up late, you might not get the room you've paid for.

This was last year. Not sure if things are any better now.

Generally clean and acceptable. Hard to beat for £15 a night for a family room which we have used a number of times.

Not sure what I'll do when nipper #3 is too big for the travel cot though.

Stopped in London a few times for £26 a night for a family room, you can't go wrong. The breakfast are not up to much, always over cooked.

I don't think they'll do that.

They'd probably rather you stayed away.

they are not great but come on what do you expect in this country for the money?

Ive stayed in the crowne plaza in birmingham holliday st on business and that was supposed to be a 4 star.....what a joke......it was worse than any travelodge ive stayed in.....decor and tv from the 1970's......

hotel info hadnt been updated much in the last 30 years.....though the bathroom had some fixes applied that were so bad my 6 year old could have a better job with his eyes closed.......as the booklet stated that sky sports was included but oh no no skysprts.......for £199 a night i expected much much more.

for families they are fine because of the outrageous amount some hotels charge when you mention the word family or family room.....if you get any room near an attraction or beach in the south for under £100 esp. on a bank hol tou are lucky.....one 3 diamond guest house in sandown, isle of wight quoted us £196/night for a family room...i wont tell you what i said to him...we didnt go tho...i can easily afford it...just principle!
