2gb of DDR2 PC2-5300 (2x 1gb) Is available from crucial for £34.06

2GB DDR2 PC2-4200 is also the same price available as both DIMMS and SODIMMS.

Timings probably aren't all the great so its not likely to be any good for overclockers and performance enthusiasts but for anyone who wants to upgrade the RAM in their pc its certainly worth a look, Particularly as this is crucial RAM so should be quality RAM and not some Generic junk.

Don't forget quidco cashback of 7%.

Fair enough, your the first person whos voted cold to actually say why, I thought it wasn't a bad deal personally particularly as sodimms are also the same price handy for laptop users

Unfortunately I don't think I qualify for the £10 off the other ram, isn't the google checkout offer only for people who didn't take it last time this time around?

In my case it doesn't make much difference since my existing ram is only 667mhz so i wouldn't benefit from the other one linked.

But thanks for taking the time to actually say why its not a hot deal

I'd still vote it hot as Crucial is a much more a reputed brand comparing to OCZ. I personally had never heard of OCZ before joining HUKD

The OCZ is PC-6400 whereas the OP is referring to Crucial PC-4200/PC-5300 dimms. Comparing prices for the two is silly
