In addition to edi's find and posting there are more handsets available with 12 months free line rental over at http://www.mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk/12months.asp

Can anyone please give their feedback on Mobiles2YourDoor?

I am just a bit hesitant about: Once you enter the eligibility period, we have an automated process in place to ensure you receive a redemption certificate in the post. - They could easily make it difficult for customers to get their redemption stuff? Most other deals bundle it with the initial package.

A good thing is they allow upto 60 days to claim back your cashback at each of the four stages!

Thanks,

but the bad thing:

''Please not that where multiple redemptions are required, any failure to make one redemption invalidates all future redemptions.''

Hey valentins I read that aswell. The deal being offered is excellent but any bad organisation on the customer's part in terms of sending things in on time or the redemption forms not being sent out on time could cause a lot of problems!

I am looking to take out the deal but wanted some feedback from customers who may have dealt with Mobiles2YourDoor previously.

Thanks in advance,

No-one will be able to tell you anything about cashback as the company has only just been formed so no-one will have any cashback yet. They are owned by the 4u group so should all be reliable. The phones I received are all in great condition and the rest of the stuff looks very professional, basically the same stuff as phones4u but in green!

I am very tempted with this deal. Especially as the company is connected to Phones4u in some way, so it looks more trustworthy than some companies. Also its good to join them if they have just launched, they are less likely to go bnkrupt during your contract.

I say this as I was going to join a contract like this from mobilephonesontheweb.com - some people gave good reviews, and it had been going for a year or two I think. But I didnt go for it in the end, it seemed too dodgy. I have checked back about 3 months later, they have shut up shop, ran out of money and people are left with paying off the contract.

If the company does go bust, sometimes the network operator will be sympathetic with the situation - I have heard people with cut rate contract, and being given the phone and contract ended early.

Remember, there is no such think as a free lunch (well except in some cases thanks to HUKD :D). Its a risk you have to decide if you want to take - think about it a free phone, free contract and £45 quidco is almost too good to be true - some people are lucky, others arent. If you are already on a £35 p/m or so contract already then there is less risk for you, as you would be paying near what the offer is asking anyway. I only spend about £15 a month so I aint risking it.

Been doing these for years - as long as you stick to reputable companies and follow the conditions to the letter you'll almost certainly be fine. I must have done 15 of these over the last 5 years, changing phones all the time, and never missed a payment.

Have already had 1 cashback from them. The most painless cashback to date (tried e2save and The Link previously).

OK, tempted me. Voted hot -)

With 3G, a nice big screen and a good browser, this should be a pretty usable internet device. Not like a PocketPC of course, but for irregular use pretty practical. Also stuff like the googlemaps app is available on S60, and quite a lot of other free stuff.

Good deal but the terms are a bit tricky. You can't claim until you get the redemption certificate, you get the first one after 6 months and then subsequently one certificate with each cash back claim made.... All aimed to confuse the average punter IMHO. Should be OK if you are ruthlessly organised. Fortunately I am!!

Has sat nav you say. This sounds pretty good. Might wait till my bank finally changes my home address though coz that's bound to cause confusion.
