Standard International Shipping for 1 dvd is $6.48 (surface mail 9-36 business days). Single dvds won't be subject to customs (upto $40 or so should be safe). If you order over £18 worth customs may send you a bill later (although you'll save on shipping and the exchange rate is great).

You won't save enough on the shipping to justify the customs charge, if you get caught though. For example, I placed 4 orders, which meant I had to pay an extra $3.99 * 4 = $16, ie. around £8 or so. If I'd ordered all of those together, the Post Office charge would've been £8 itself, and that's before you get to the actual customs/VAT charge.

They have detailed info about customs charges. I'd recommend keeping orders below £18 (so I'd say you want to make sure that you're not ordering more than, say, $34 of goods, excluding postage in any one order).

Spot on. I thought RM charged £10 actually lol. When you say $3.99??? The delivery seems to be more than that... unless it was just the set I looked at?

Still you can get say both series of House MD for under £20 delivered airmail (roughly).

I would usually order from overseas only for things I cant get here, or if its a really decent saving... or special special editions ;)

Well, pay $3.99 plus $2.49 per item in the order, for postage. So if you ordered them all together you'd still ahve to pay the $2.49 for each item, but you'd only have one $3.99 charge, if that makes sense?

How much more difficult is it to put your details into an american website rather than a uk one? If it's cheaper to buy something from USA it's easier.
