This is available online in my area at this price.

A feature is that for my online store, if you go to Lagers, there is now a new option of 'Polish Alcohol' to click on. In fact though, the Karpackie 4 x 500ml bottles is the only item listed when you click on this option, with Zywiec and Tyskie listed under World Beers.

Polish lagers taste nicer than cheap rubbish like Carling, Fosters, Stella?

Oh, anyone mentioned Tesco's cheap bottled beer deals at the moment? Seems to be about 25 - 30% off. Lots of cheap ales, etc.

2 rbentley - did you ever try ANY Eastern European beer? From your comments doesn't look that way...
Do yourself a BIG favour - go to Tesco and buy some. You will find they are much better that your Carling, Fosters and other British lager muck... And hey I am talking about lagers here... British ales are very good

As a lager drinker, I like tasting as many different lagers as possible. It can be a pain that "foreign" lagers are often brewed in the UK though ... kinda defeats the object of a foreign beer in my opinion.

As I have allegedly "grown up", I consider the likes or Carling, Carlsberg, Fosters and especially 4X as utter garbage. Kronenbourg and Grolsch are okay, but I'm getting bored fast! Proper imported lager is the best in my opinion.

Czech beer is pretty tasty, but I was quite fond of a Peruvian beer that Virgin trains had. The company sent me 1st class, meaning that I got complimentary beer ... so I had a good few of those! Very good - but can't remember the name.

Stella is not cheap rubbish been drinking it for years had many a good times with Stella, Zywiec is another favourite at the Wetherspoon.

I don't enjoy Stella that much - it's picked up that nasty "chav-drink" label unfortunately. WS pubs and bars are also not well regarded for me sadly either. Their pints tend to be poured badly from experience (Liverpool, Southampton, Manchester), as well as being quite flat and watery.

One that is worth a look is Cains from Liverpool if you are close by. I know some Asda stores stock it

The good old "wife beater" ...

Zywiec is good, but the Tyskie is nicer. Ococim and some of the other polish lagers are also well worth trying, some of them are veering towards >7% though.
