Excellent thanks normal. Thinking of upgrading my MBP up to 4GB.

Question
I see 'Matched Pairs' are best together. Does this mean both the same chip (i.e. two of these kingstons), or are they tested and tweaked to work together??

still... £50 for 4GB ram, cant fall off really!!

Hi, an amazing price, i brought mine for £50 each a month ago.

DDR II memory is best used with a matching pair, so if you plan to do that read on -

If you have Windows 32 bit, (which is what most of us will be using) it can only use just over 3GB of memory max.

If you have Windows 64 bit (XP or Vista), it will use all of the 4GB memory.

If your still not sure look on the web.

Thanks to the OP. Bought one of these for my Eee and a 6gb Sandisk SDHC card to take it over £50. Used the GOODHOUSE94XT1 code and we're down to £59.98 for the two.

Does anyone know if these work in a MAcbook (2.16ghz)
According to the specs its maximum 2gb in a macbook, but maybe thats becuse these things are new and didnt exist when Apple wrote the manual?
