The game came out in the US on the 10th December, UK PS3 owners will have to wait until Feb/March 2008 for their version.

Movityme have it for £31.99 delivered - IN STOCK NOW!!!

The reason for posting this deal is that I have ordered it and received a confirmation that my order has shipped, so can prove that it is genuine.

In my experience Movietyme are not the fastest when it comes to delivery, usually between 4-10 days but that's faster thatn waiting 3 months!

For online players of UT the servers are worldwide not region specific so you will not be stuck playing on the US servers when the UK version comes out.

Yep, all PS3 games are region free and the language is also English as only out in USA

Even if they are, you just need to create a US PSN account on your PS3 with an address in America and away you go, I have one already for downloading demo's and stuff from the USA PSN store. But with some games playing online it even lets you choose which continent you want to connect to. When the UK servers come on it doesn't matter you have a US game because they can't tell that as the discs are region free

All PS3 games and Blu-Ray Movies are region free as long as they are played through hdmi on a HD/HD Ready TV not sure why scart would fail as i havent tried, but apparently it does, PS2 games are still region locked as are DVD's

Im just concerned coz a game like this is all about speed and a 110ms ping time will put you at a disadvantage over someone in the US with a 10ms ping time. Hopefully it shouldnt be a prob tho if as you say you can choose your server.

I do remember that US copies of RFOM only allowed you to use US servers even if you used a UK machine, the game was region free but the online play was region locked.

The reason scart fails is because the standard PAL and NTSC resolutions are different and most PAL TV's don't support the NTSC resolution, however HD resolution is universally the same.

Does anyone know this games max resolution for PS3? Does it go up to 1080p? I hope so!

With regards to servers, does anyone know if it's possible people in the UK will set up their own servers and if it would be possible to connect if you have the IP? I beleive this can be done on the PC version and I know PlusNet set up a Warhawk server for PS3. If that's possible it would be great instead of using US servers.
