Sky Digital half price Sky World package for £22.50 for 3 months. fill ye boots!

Hi

I've fancied getting the films and sport channels for the kids over the Christmas period and just rang Sky to see what they can offer me.

We've got the £21.50 package at the moment but asked what special offers they had for Sky World (£45 per month).

The guy offered Sky World at 22.50 for 3 months and said you can cancel at anytime during the 3 months.

Not bad at all - all the films and Sport for 3 months for an extra quid per month.....The youngest is so excited he's getting his daily fix of wresting now!

Give them a ring....

i just rang and they said there are no offers at all.
they said this is their busy period and nov - jan they have no promotions for existing customers apart from upgrade to HD

i phoned up the other day, asked for deals. wanted to get movies, but would of taken a more channels for a deal.

was told no deals at all. Wanted to say i will cancel then, but always afraid they will just say "ok, its all cancelled"

Well, I can't understand that at all. I was on the phone 30 minutes ago and the guy went away from his desk to check what he could offer me and came back with 2 offers. I've been with them for 15 years and had loads of freebies in the last 5-6 years with them.
Best "freebie" was with getting a free upgrade to Sky plus 80gb box and free installation (saving of about £200) because I found out via another website that Sky KNOW the smaller version boxes have bugs on the software but tried to keep it quiet.
However to get the 80gb box you MUST contact a certain manager director to get the ugrade.
......you mustn't have pressed them hard enough. Have you never heard of Dominic Littlewood!

just phoned up sky to ask for any special offers after seeing the message for the offer 22.50 for sky world for the next 3months.

i asked them and they said they could give me sky world package for £33 for the next 3 months thats the best they could do.

Upgraded my two mix to two mix plus sports and movies for £29 a month for three months. Not as good as the OP but its all they would offer. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though.

Thanks mate, as a side note and back on topic phoned sky and asked about offers got put through to programme advisor who asked what channels did i use etc. Mentioned would use them all but can't afford them, she immediately offered the full package at £33 for 3 months.

So mate voted this thread hot saved me a load of dosh and got all channels
