If you can afford the extra £200 it's a bargain. Vastly better processor, graphics card and screen. If you want to play modern games or use it for anything more taxing than word processing, email and web, spend the extra.

I went for Vista Business - I'm sure there will be some bugs seeing as its a new operating system but I believe a service pack is on the way. After all, we cant all use XP forever!

The lead time is 2 to 3 weeks - if it's reduced again in the Jan sales you could always try negotiating the better price.
