yeah recieved it on 31st dec. So far it seems brilliant. Unloaded Mcafee and installed Avast antivirus. Vista takes a lot of getting used to, It is not as straight forward as XP and things seem to be hidden away, i had to customise it a fair bit to get it to where i liked the look of it but now that i have used it for a few days i can see it being ok. But i think it was a great buy. the laptop seems solidly built and well spec'd

i formatted mine to get rid of the jink, it is soooo much quicker as a result. suggest you do the same before loading all your stuff on.

Mine was waiting for me today when I got into work. It says it was dispatched on the 21st December but I've been away. After reading the comments about the lack of media centre in the business version of Vista I'm tempted to try to change it for Windows Vista Home. Does anyone know whether they'd do this?

yeah its a nice machine to work on and 6 cell battery is giving an impressive 4.5hours!!

The power adapter did pack up on me on the first day but dell sent a replacement by courier next day delivery so no biggy.

Got mine as well mate very impressed so far.

Have you formatted yours? or just using it straight from the box
