I am listening to radio 1 on my pc while I write this. I bought mine from lowestonweb.co.uk for around 20quid some time ago and they are a fine set of speakers for the money. Only downside to them is the transformer pack (which like many transformers or chargers these days has the 3 pins sticking out direct rather than on a seperately cabled plug) is very wide and can intrude on the adjacent plug space if you are using a multi-socket adaptor. Other than that I would definitely buy them again. Especially at this price.

That's a pain when the plug overhangs. It often happens to me with those 'trailer' sockets, like the long white ones but double versions, think they have 10 or 12 plugs. I found the best way to get around this problem, was to use one of the cube shaped 2/3 socket things (they are white) they elevate the plug high enough that you can put one of the big black ones on the top of it no problem. And then simply plug the white cube along with its black adaptor (ontop) straight in to your trailer socket. sry cant find a pic of what i mean on the net.

I have one of these at work to play MP3's (paid 14.99). Brilliant performance, recommended. Agree with comments on plug though - big and chunky, stops you using sockets to left and right of multi-socket adapter. Uses a lot of power so transformer / plug gets hot - suggest unplugging it when not in use! Will work with anything with standard (small) headphone socket (ie most MP3 players, radio's, etc. If your appplicance has socket for a large headphone plug, you can buy an adapter from Maplin or most AV shops.........Hot..........
