Completely forgot about quidco, thanks for that. You enter the code after selecting your hotel, just above the price there's a clickable saying "I have a discount voucher or code". You enter it there and hey presto

I've now actually decided to book our accommodation for Albufeira from hotelopia, the 4* hotel was too good an offer to miss, given that the original price was already cheaper than anywhere else

Has this expired or is there any conditions to this code?

I've been looking on Hotelopia for a few days to book a Dublin hote, and was going to book using the 10% code already posted on HDUK, but was even more pleased when I saw this code!! However, I've just tried to book and when I entered my details etc and clicked 'book', i got a page titled "payment error", which oddly went on to say my hotel choice was now unavailable, no booking had been made and I had not been charged.

I tried using a different credit card but the same happened. I then tried a different hotel (the choice was between two, and nothing in it really), I got exactly the same result again.

Like I said, I was going to book using the 10% code, so I decided to try that one. Using the 10% my booking went through no problems...

Yeah it was strange; unless they've pulled it. I tried about 6 times with it, different hotels, credit cards, room types... nothing. First time I used the 10% it worked.

Oh well, thanks for posting anyway, sure it benefitted some people.

Amusing story - about 2 months ago, I booked using the 10% code - Fantastic deal in a great hotel that I've been in before in Orlando. The cancellation fee is £15, so I thought I'd pop in and have a look and see if I could make a saving.
Strangely, looks as if the prices have gone up by ~5% - including discounts (10% before and 15% now), it's the same price.
