After seeing the difference of the electric consumption for standard bulbs v's energy saving bulbs in Ikea, these free bulbs will go down nicely, I just have to wait for 3 years until the other ones in my house need replacing (thats if the manufacturers claims are true that they last years and years!)

Anyway, thanks for the pre-notification, I don't buy newspapers but will next saturday!

Just remember they contain mercury so you can't eat the energy saving ones unlike the old style which were great in a casserole or with jam

We just got our delivery at WH Smith this morning, decent little light bulbs... I've dibbed any that don't get given away... So hopefully will be getting a few on sunday :D
