Ryobi stuff is quite good. I have a lot of their cordless stuff with interchangeable batteries.

Looks to me like there's some stuff missing, that maybe should be in the box, like drills etc..

Theres a bosch for £6 more supplied with sds bits, it would probably be better value.

What's a rotary stop?
Stops the rotation of the bit so you can use breaker and chiseling bits.
Very handy and saves a lot of work

I think he means theres no function to just use the hammer function i.e. as a breaker

I would say Ryobi is on par with Bosch if not just slightly under. However for real quality stuff I would suggest to go for makita branded equipment.

Bosch is MUCH better than Ryobi. But your right about Makita they (IMO) are the best brand for drills. Makita all the way if you want something that will last

IMHO Rotary stop is essential to get the most out out of one of these drills.

The Dewalt deal http://www.screwfix.com/prods/43520?ts=97862
is much better.
I paid almost £150 for the mains drill alone 7 years ago. Still perfect despite being used as a breaker
