public liabiliy insurance

POSTED BY: worto03 5 months, 4 weeks ago

Hi,

My girlfriend is about to start selling paintings at markets & craft fair type places.

We have just found out we'll need public liability insurance for most markets - Anyone know the cheapest place to get this? We're kind of in a testing phase at the mo to judge interest outside of friends & family so don't want to fork out a lot of cash then not be bale to sell anything!

Cheers,
worto.

Cheaper to get cover via the Market Traders Association.

They give you membership as well as Public Liability Insurance

Interested for the same reason as OP. I assume you mean this one http://www.nmtf.co.uk/index.php?id_cpg=6

If so, do you know if the insurance covers you for anything you sell or does it only cover markets? i.e. if you sell direct as well.
