This is the second time I have purchased this book, the last time I definately got back the money I spent on it back in deals. I'm surprised others haven't posted about it again.
This has been posted over a year ago (http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/34216/save-thousands-on-eating-out-leisur/) This is the 5th addition being releases - At the time there were several questions about its charitable status, but I purchased this book through the Friends of School at the primary school that I teach at, and I know that it is a fundraiser for us which we have partcipated in for several years.

I think the B'ham one is excellent value. I got one last year and have gotten one again this year. Lots of 2 for 1 offers on restaurants, days out, cinema, etc. Also percentage-off discounts, "child goes free" tickets, etc. As I recall, you can view the offers on www.invitationbook.co.uk so you know what you're getting before you buy. You can also order the book, look through it and then return it if you don't think it's worth it (provided you haven't used any coupons, of course).

Charities and schools sell these as fundraising projects - I don't know about this year, but last year you got 10 pounds off if you put in a code from a charity/school selling them. I found a code online via Googling and used it successfully, then got 10 pounds off again this year by pre-ordering.

I bought 2 last year, only paid £19.99 each... well worth the money for cinema vouchers/fast food/days out etc. When you but from the site direct they usually offer them at this price £19.99 when they come out on sale
