£4.86

101°

FOUND BY: yipykayay 1 year, 9 months ago

These were £6.94 last week so more than £2 off.

Looks like instore only.

Don't know whether this is a nationwide deal

A good price. Hot!

I am very happy with the same type of batteries purchased on ebay by 'vapextech'. Instead of 'hybrio' these are called 'instant'. He sells them for £5 for 4 AA or AAA delivered. (for those of you not close to an asda)

These type of batteries are apparently only manufactured in 3 factories. Panasonic, Sanyo and someone else, so even uniross are may be just labeling someone else's product.

These 'hybrio' type are better in most situations as they lose charge so slowly, they can be charged up now and used in 6 months. Most rechargeables will need another charge after 6-8 weeks even without use.

Good one thanks, I will pop in my local Asda this weekend and see what's available. I think it will only be a year or so before hybrio/eneloop type batteries almost completely replace standard NIMHs

4 x AA 2500 mA for £2.99 delivery adds a bit so you will only save if you need a lot.

these are not the new hybrid type and also very poor quality. Bought some a while back and failed after a little while

£2.99? Add delivery, plus maybe some burnt furniture, and godforbid, personal injury.

Do not try to save few ££ and risk your lives in the process. Rechargeable batteries are potential explosives - do not trust unbranded stuff!

i know i think the vapextech ebay seller has made a mint out of me as ive bought well over 200 batteries from them (initially as the young son was throwing them away !! so lost about 30-40 batteries)....the instant ones are slightly lower capacity, 2000mah rather than 2900mah but they do hold the charge alot longer....i can vouch for that

wow thats not good...i have over 200 from vapextech plus a very small number from maplin/uniross, never a problem...when my son was 5 he showed me the powerful 6v battery from his radio controlled transformer type item bought in Hong Kong, all leaking!!...rushed him straight to the sink and washed his hands and cleaned his hands with medical cleanser...then binned the battery. You have to be careful what batteries you do buy

2100mAh is fairly low capacity, I guess they are clearing stock to make way for more modern ones.

What batteries are you talking about? I have never heard of Uniross Hybrio batteries failing in a short time.

BTW: 7dayshop.com rechargeable batteries and their chargers are excellent. I have been using them for the last 3 years and not one of them has failed. Their delivery charges are a rip-off though.

I've must have a dozen+ 7dayshop batteries. Never had a single problem. Very good value. I would fully recommend them.

I've also never had a problem with any of my 7DayShop rechargeables, however, that said, I really want some Hybrio/Eneloop batteries for my Camera, they are soo much better than the standard NiMH batteries.

ibiza, 2100mAh is about the current limit on Hybird batteries, I know it seems a lot lower than you can get from standard NiMH, but they are a much better technology.

What's the better performer, a 2.5l People carrier, or a 2l sports car? Don't always just go of what the numbers tell you.
