Excellent find, shame we don't have a 99p store near us.

Yes these are good. Got some a few weeks ago in Barnsley. Very useful when only taking hand luggage on flights also.

I was looking for ages for the larger size with a pump dispenser, they have them in Home Bargains at £1.99 for 500ml if you are interested.

Nice find at that price OP, great for when I'm out and about.

FYI the antibac hand gel does not kill the Norovirus or winter vomiting bug. Only soap and hot water kills that apparently just so you know. The gel is great for most other germs though.

Why not use soap first, then use the gel?

This sorta thing annoys me.

People these days are totally obsessed with what I call 'over-cleanliness'

It's no wonder the hospital are rife with MRSA and C.difficile.

I'm not talking about the general spread of infection, I'm talking in very general terms of the way people today are obsessed with protecting themselves to the nth degree.

Quite simply, that is how people lose their resistance to disease etc, due to them not being exposed. Look at the principles of antigen and antibody production for more info.

The recent proliferation of hospital acquired infections is essentially down to the same ideal - over-use and prescribing of antibiotics to those who simply don't require them, and the subsequent mutation of bacteria to develop resistance to the antibiotics used, thereby 'introducing' 'Superbugs' like MRSA.

Perhaps when I made my initial point, I wasn't clear on that.

Try here www.gloveman.co.uk

They sell Purell which is a much better brand than the cheapy stuff. They sell it in all sizes too-including the one with a pump bottle.
