New Apple iPhone 16GB model released today on O2.

£329.00

FOUND BY: BeetleBug77 1 year, 9 months ago

STARTS: 06/02/2008

Firstly this isnt a cheap mobile, I wouldn't have one and loads of money conscious people wouldn't either, its just to inform the latest gadget loving people who might like this sort of thing that a new iphone model with new deals was released today.

For all you tech lovers out there, apple have now upgraded the memory from 8GB and are offering 16GB versions of the Apple iphone. Available direct from O2 website. Info found on the mobdeals compare site. O2 announced revised tariffs recently and I guess this is to coincide with it. 16GB is more attractive to those who have a lot of songs etc to store.

Again not cheap but a lot of techy peeps will like to know a higher capacity 16GB has been released, as 8GB is rather limited these days. This is for those who like the latest thing and may appreciate being told new deals are available

8GB £269
16GB £329

Enjoy

Beetle Bum:)

So how is that a hot deal in any sense of the words?
This might be of interest on a techie news site, but totally worthless here

Exactly what ive said in the first paragraph, this is a big deal for a lot of must have tech lovers. Knew this wouldnt go down to well with many of us money savers but its for the fortunate few who like the latest stuff and have the means to afford it.

I wouldnt go for it as its not my cup of tea, but those who want the latest thing would and may appreciate being told new deals are available.

16gb iphone cost £250 in the U.S, thats even cheaper then the price we pay for 8gb version lol. Should have price it at £299 since iPhone doing poorly in UK. But wouldn't mine selling of my 8gb iphone unlock for a 16gb version, only problem is that 16gb version is not unlockable due to it has 1.1.3 and bootloader 4.6_M3S2

Whats the deal with unlocking these things anyway, I heard on the news that half of those in america are unlocked? If we do it over here will it work, or do apple have a way of breaking the iphone if you hook it up and its unlocked? Seem to remeober being told it stops working if you attempt to unlock it.

I am yet to see an i-phone in 'Real life', considering how they were touted as the next big thing, they haven't turned out half as popular as the hype suggested.

just because they are so expensive, I do see the appeal of having your music/video player, internet and phone in one though. Hopefully more networks will be able to sell these at somepoint which may help bring the price down.

Really terrible phone, comes with free net access and doesnt support proper download speeds, GPS is old school and pointless, would be like using a modem in these times.

Not seen a real life non jail broken one though!

On another note, those tech savvy peeps who want the latest thing probably already knew about this
I know I did! hehe
