Supermarket/Food Deals - out of control now!

I know I keep on whinging about this, but it's getting to ridiculous levels now. It's like every 5th 'deal' is about something you can buy in the supermarket for 20p. It's ridiculous! It's not even like this is some amazing bargain - IT'S A SUPERMARKET! They're constantly reducing the prices of food and having certain items on offer. It's what they do! It's making the site absolute pants.

I think there are so many of these deals now that there should be a separate sub-forum to cope with them, so those of us (it can't just be me!) who don't want to see them can avoid them somehow.

They have their own category!

People are free to post what they want, and vote for want they want here. If you do not want to see them, set up a custom page that excludes the groceries forum.

here here i say, you cant beat a grocery bargin or points code, obviously bristol deal has stashes of cash , not like approx 90% of the country trying to struggle by day by day.

I like to see which supermarkets have things on offer I do my majority shop at morrisons but since joining this site I've picked up loads of bargains from the others that I wouldn't have known about before.

Please keep posting supermarket deals where-ever and whenever as they are one of the main reasons I choose to visit HUKDs on a regular basis! ( I'd much rather browse through those than endless X-BOX deals) But that is my own preference! ( Afterall we all have to eat)

Just because it doesn't suit you - does not mean that it won't suit others. Seems selfish IMO. Certain deals don't effect me at all - so I ignore them - surely you could do the same.

Okay, is there any way to filter OUT specific stores? Maybe if I could get rid of deals from Tesco and Argos, it should cut down the amount of deals by about 60%.

Not really - unless you added every retailer.

For what you want you would probably be best adding all the topics except groceries as this will just keep out groceries no matter which merchant they are under.

If you did Tesco then you wouldn't see DVDs, electronics etc either.
