2008 book annuals loads reduced to £1..shoot,.beano,scooby doo,dandy,official engand footy team etc.etc.

tesco direct in bromborough had all these annuals and loads more all reduced from £5 - £7 to just a quid each.i got all the above for a fiver! dont think its been posted and dont know if on the website.staff member tells me its national but may take until weekend to reach all stores.
loads of titles available at least 25-30.
have put as offline as ive GOT to go to work and havent time to look. sorry.

These were all 99p in Waterstones 3 days after xmas, and I've seen them in several discount book stores since at the same price.

I agree - and they always seem to head from full price to 99p every year. It's a wonder anybody buys them at all. And there's not as much in them as when I was a kid...jumpers for goalposts etc.

Considerably cheaper than a comic though at 99p...............most comics my kids want at £2.25+ - I'd much rather buy a couple of annuals, they last longer! I've bought a few from Poundland the Works and Amazon at 99p and £1, but I'll see what our Tesco have too. Voted hot!

They are online - on the grocery site. Type annual in the search box. Only had a couple of titles listed but this probably varys depending on where you are.
