i bought this a little while ago and the free month gold code worked fine(didnt think they had an expirey date) well worth £9.99 imo

Never known these to have expirey dates, also the old xbox codes that did have them on the card, never expired even now. So if it does (which I am sure it does not) it should work anyway.

No, the codes dont expire - I recently used a 5 year old years subcription code from an old xbox live pack.

You not the only one who looks round the bargain bins for these..

Picked up one from a currys digital over christmas for £4.97 12 months live and halo 2 and a headset.... Still the odd ones around.. Got to keep looking at the bargain bins..

Yeah they are getting hard to find but much cheaper than paying £35 - £40. Eventually I'm going to have to resort to Ebay email codes which a lot of freinds use and can be had for as little as £20 for a year.

Not as good but these packs cant last forever.

Only drawback is the US 360 codes are now locked to the US and US accounts which is a shame. The old xbox US codes worked worldwide..

Some people still think it may eventually go free like Sony's poor online service.
We will wait and see, I doubt it, and for £40 a year it is well worth it, it is a great online service.
