This is good news, but having said that, the minimum cost is 7.50x12 +40 = 130
130/12= 10.80/month.

Orange give 2meg 6gig cap for £5, and sky give for free

I used my work mobile number so I only pay the £7.50 per month. Great deal for me.

This is a good Local Loop Unbundling (LLU) deal, but not available nationwide.

"Pay Monthly Customers
To continue receiving your discounted Broadband price, you must remain an O2 Consumer or Business Pay Monthly mobile customer. If your O2 Pay Monthly contract is terminated, you'll be automatically charged the regular price for your O2 Broadband Package from the date of termination.

Pay & Go Customers
If you're a Pay & Go customer and sign-up to a discounted O2 Broadband package you need to keep your O2 Pay & Go mobile active (i.e. able to make and receive calls) and satisfy a minimum top-up requirement of £10 every 3 months to keep the discount after your first month of O2 Broadband. "

The minimum 12 month spend is £130 as above, but includes £40 of PAYG calls. Also £25 cashback via quidco.
The broadband is good value even without the discount, especially to people who do video conferencing on the internet, due to the high upload speed.

No download limit is a boon to those who are taking advantage of the iplayer (or other online video stuff)

So far o2 have been great but still Im waiting to get online though due to Parceline not delivering my router on the day they told me they would after I waited in all day yesterday, they even said they left a 'missed you note' which they didnt! so I cant pick it up at the depot.

I joined o2 broadband about a month or so ago and migrated my parents last week. BT had a technical problem when they went to migrate them and didn't complete it along with not switching them back to their existing ISP. Now my parents have no internet at all for over a week until BT fix it.

In fairness, it's all due to BT, and o2 who have been very helpful all along, but the one poor thing about o2 is that the line resyncs frequently and randomly and that seems to affect a lot of users. The speeds, however, are very good.

The difference is, that offer was for pay monthly customers only, while now it's for pay as you go customers also.

Signed up to this deal a few weeks ago. Superb customer service and the download speed is excellent. Been watching loads of iPlayer stuff. The free modem / router is not bad, which is a re-badged Thomson 780wl.

Lol Oranges customer service is a joke, so no thanks. Dunno much about Sky tbh.

Had O2 for about 4 months now and they have been nothing short of fantastic. You receive texts if there is something wrong with the exchange giving you updates.

Their customer service is excellent, being UK based makes a big difference imo. They were so helpful, it was the router that was actually faulty. I received a new on two days later! For £7.50, that's great..... Especially since just last year I was paying £29.99 with BT!

Any links for the resync problem as I get this having switched from BeThere which I thought was the same service but didn't have the problems

Am in the middle of signing up to this and I think its an excellent deal for £7.50
Being an o2 payngo customer and top up £10 every month as usual it doesnt effect me, also with topping up £10 a month I am on the o2 online tariff which makes it even better.
