A bargain? Less than a set of replacement cartridges

All budget printers cost less than a set of replacement cartridges, primarily because manufacturer ink is way over priced and mostly because the cartridges you get with the printer are almost empty causing you to buy a new set almost immediately. However I stand by my find that this is a good deal for a multi-function printer, unless you know of it cheaper elsewhere?

Would this be ok for printing standard typed text. Also are the cartridges readily available and relatively cheap ?

Mmmm this sounds a good deal, but cannot beat the Canon MP460 for £24.99 back in December/January from Argos. None the less this is a good deal.

Hi, I currently have a Dell printer and its costing me £25/£35 per cartridge for black/white and colour cartridges repectively. I need a cheaper printer to run as I'm writing a thesis at present and so many a page will need to be printed. Does anyone know if this would be cheap to run?

Bought the MP460 2 monthes ago for £24.99, last time it was on offer at Argos. It is an excellent printer for this money with a perfectly adequate scanner. Don't know if this is similar.
