This is a good deal considering it has 160GB HDD rather than the 200GB HDD now available on the new Macbook Pro (base) but £150 less. This is the cheapest I've seen any where.

You can probably save minimum £300 if you buy a Dell 1520 or even the Dell XPS 1530.

True but isn't that always the case when buying a premium product?

If you need a Mac running OSX then a Dell won't do the job.

Actually, if you buy a core2duo laptop, and its an intel board, you have a pretty good chance that OSX will install on it.

I have set up OSX on a core2duo desktop, about £150 of bits. OS X Leopard performs with phenominal speed, really really impressive. I am a bit of a windows expert, but I am beginning to learn more and more about apple....
