Being from the UKs number one rechargable battery brand it will be hard to doubt the quality of these batteries.
Hybrid means that they keep their charge similar to Alkalines and so are good for both low use and high use.
In high drain cameras (when flash is used) these will outlast Alkaline 6 or so times.
Like Alkalines these are ready charged but can be recharged 500 times.
£3.15 for 4 AAA. I've not bought the AA but price is probably £4.86.(edit a Previous posting a week or so ago said £4.86. However it now seems also to be £3.15 for 4 AA)
In my local store(Fareham) these are all unpriced(and just round the corner from other batteries). Possibly because the manager does not want to impact on the Alkaline cashcow.
Uniross are one of the better suppliers when it comes to ratings. (as are Sanyo)
(edit) These are rated at 800mah. The AA are 2100mah.
(edit) Seem to be available in-store only
(EDIT) It seems to be end of line!!! Wont be everywhere. ASDA may well be too scared to sell them continuously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If unpriced at your branch they will certainly be at a great price but double check at the till.
Asda Direct and George Vouchers: £5 - ASDA5, 10% - ASD10p
