Newcastle United Current Home Shirt ( £14.99 - £22.49 / 25% off ) @ SportsDirect

Popped into Sports Direct earlier today to find that the current Newcastle United home shirt is selling for £14.99 (Junior sizes) and £22.49 (Senior Sizes)

Senior sizes elsewhere are between £30 and £40 at JJB, Kitbag etc the club shop is reasonable to be fair at £30 senior, and £22.50 for junior size compared to those two, but Sports Direct are still beating them at this price!

I'm 20 and managed to bag myself a junior sized 13-14 one at £14.99, and its pretty much a perfect fit, there's not much of me to be fair, but its still a pretty big shirt for a 13 to 14 year old I'd have thought! Now I can proudly watch us at St James' in my colours.... as we go down.

Bargainous.

The official club shops reduced these a while back, suspect it's due to a change of sponsorship looming, bit of a cop out really, as the home shirts are meant to be biannual, the away and 3rd/euro (haha) yearly. The Government sponsor NUFC at the moment due to the Northern Rock Fiasco. Manc man or whatever your name was, Newcastle last won a Major Trophy in 1969 (The Fairs Cup/UEFA), so success wise aren't a big club such as Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Ure, howevet Turnover wise they are.

Keegan will keep us up, just. And only because fortunatley there are teams worse than us.
