I bought one of these before Christmas when Amazon had them on offer @ £29.99. They are phenominal sounding radios; far too good for the bedroom, and are what DAB is all about - cleaner sound and far more choice. Mine has pride of place in my kitchen where, even at low volume it delivers a meaty, warm sound. At a higher volume it transforms into a mini boogey box.
With referance to whether DAB lives or dies - let's do to analogue radio what they're doing to analogue TV - switch it off..... The only way the die hard, live in the past brigade will upgrade is if they have to. Everyone thought freeview was dead when Jonny Vegas and "monkey" left our screens..... but look at freeview now..... Taken off big style now the population knows that within a few years they will either have it or they'll be staring at a blank screen......
