Carpet Fixer (Kicker) £14.99 Netto WSL from Mon 10/03

£14.99

31°

FOUND BY: welshblob 1 year, 8 months ago

STARTS: 10/03/2008

Just seen this on Monday's special offers at Netto.

http://viewer.zmags.com/showmag.php?linksid=1337#/page6/

Having just fitted some carpets I know how handy this is and is half the price of a similar one (which I have) at Argos.

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7016396/Trail/searchtext%3ECARPET.htm

Hope this helps someone.

Cheers
Rob

I was a carpet fitter for 15 years and trust me treat this with care, it is a great deal but in the wrong hands these tools can cause damage especially to velour type carpets
Heat added as we used to have to pay £100 plus for one albeit better quality. This will be fine for tucking those carpets back in after decorating but I would still recommend that you ask a proffesional for some advice.
Nice one

I'm just having a new bedroom carpet fiited (by the professionals) and decided to use the old one to replace whats on the landing and bathroom so had nothing to lose. I have to say I don't think any carpet fitters need worry about losing trade to me. Although i've done a reasonable job it is something that you need some experience and confidence for otherwise you'll ruin your new purchase.
Cheers

Or more likely your back

Used one a couple of times when I was fitter, but it's a back wrecking job if ever there was one. The Chiropractor's bills alone make getting a fitter worthwhile!
